Computer Applications Project

Don't forget to bring the outline of your project - PRINTED!!! - to class Thursday 20th October a 8.50am. For details on what to include see the post of Thursday Sep 29th - look at "What to include". I will be checking that you are on track to complete by the deadline, and giving advice on how to improve what you have started

Programming practice: (To be handed in at the same time)

Write a program to ask for 50 scores. Work out the total and average. Find the highest score - and print total, average and highest score.

Database SBA

Deadline for Database SBA submission is Friday 7th October at 1.00pm
All tables, queries and reports MUST be printed by the deadline to qualify for a grade.

Remember to print all tables, queries and reports before changing the data in question (D) - you will then need to reprint the job and vehicle tables after completing (D)

Homework for Thursday 13th October: continue looking at Computers in Industry. Your Powerpoint presentation or Word report will be checked for progress.

Additional homework task for Thursday 13th October:

Write Pseudocode to ask for 20 prices. You will add 15% sales tax to the total and output "The final bill is " - displaying the total including sales tax.
